Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born 1 October, 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actor, well-known by her roles in Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors and she has also been pursuing both careers. She made her debut at the age of nine years old in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988, she played her role as the main character in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo (1988), as well as being one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's daughter for the film Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career started to blossom. She played roles that ranged from very young before becoming more mature. The film received an enthusiastic reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. The Phantom of The Opera is the third film she has made with her dad. Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome were the two previous films. The Phantom of the Opera, which was made together with her father who passed away and is the final of three films she's worked on. The other two were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni used her absorbed and intense manner of acting in the film Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot and she also played an important character. In 1995, Asia collaborated with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia began her career in 1994 as a director she produced two short films: Prospettive (1996), documentary about her father and her mother, as well as Abel/Asia (1998), a film about the cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. The latter was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began directing her first feature film in 1999 with Scarlet Diva (2000). She was also the main performer, as well as the creator of the script. The film premiered on 20 May, 2000, in Italy and the rest of world. The film was given a special prize at the Williamsburg Festival of Film in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001 after she directed some music videos. She was a part of Jean-Marc Barr's performance as Jean-Marc Barr in The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she appeared with Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action-packed thriller. Asia has also been the writer of numerous short stories, which have appeared in numerous famous magazines.
